Phonics - multi-sensory review of all letters and long a
Book of the Week - Miss Rumphius
Mom of the Month - Martha Cook

Thanks to Chris Magill for being our February Parent of the Month!  With 3 winter breaks and replanting...we appreciate your flexibility.  Thanks to Chris and Melissa for a great morning of baking blueberry muffins.

I sent home a CD of Isaiah 55 song that Pam Hamilton recorded to help with scripture memory.  What a blessing.  Please play this in your car a couple of times a day.  Pam is willing to come to class a few days to work on song with the children so that we can sing at our poetry recital in April.

Important Dates:
This week!  Boosterthon School Fund Raiser - Kick-off - look for information on Monday and Tuesday.
March 6th - We will watch a short version of Perimeter Academy of Arts Ballet La Fille Mai Garden 10:15-11:15 - it's a classical comedy and my kindergartners always love this one!
March 17th - School-wide Service Projects - more info coming soon.
March 27th - Parent Teacher Conferences - sending sign up email today.

Each year we get our first glimpse of spring as we study the wonderful book Miss Rumphius. On Wednesday, (just like Miss Rumphius), we will plant seed pots that will blossom just as the weather gets warm.
